Manage Email Accounts and Options
With the Novus Internet Service, you can have up to 10 or more email accounts (depending on your subscription) with 100MB of space for each mailbox.
From the ONLINE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page, you can:
- Add or delete email accounts
- Change passwords
- Change primary accounts
- Turn on/off auto-reply/forwardings
- Change spam filter settings
Login to the ONLINE ACCOUNT MANAGEMENT page
- To login to the Online Account Management page, go to http://www.mynovus.ca.
You will need to enter your phone number and PIN to login.

Once you have logged in, click on MANAGE EMAIL ACCOUNTS from the left menu. You will be prompted again for your Internet Username and Password.
Creating a New Email Account

To create a new email account, click "Click here to add a new account" and enter your new username and password.
A new account name can only includes letters, number, underscores(_), hiphens(-) and periods(.). In addition, account name cannot begin with a number.
Processing may take a while, so please wait until a confirmation window appears.
Changing Your Password

To change a password for an existing account, click on "Change Password" under the account you wish to change, then enter new the password twice.
Passwords must be at least 6 characters long.
Forwarding/Auto-Reply

To forward an email to another email address or to setup an auto reply, click on "set forwarding/auto reply".
You can have one forwarding address and up to 255 characters for your auto reply message.

To deactivate forwarding/auto-reply, empty the field and click on the "update" button.
Spam Filter
- To change Spam filter settings, click on "junk mail options". There are three options available:

"Tagging" - If a message is identified as spam, the subject of the email will be prepended with the word "*****SPAM*****". The message will still be delivered to your mailbox.

"Quarantine" - If a message is identified as spam, it will be delivered to a separate spam folder.
You can check the content of the spam folder by using Novus Webmail.
NOTE: Any content of the spam folder older than 7 days will be automatically deleted.

"Disabled" - All message will be delivered to your mailbox without any filtering.
Change Primary Account

To change your primary account, click on "set primary" under the account you want to select as your new primary account.
NOTE: Your primary account is used for logging into the Novus FTP server, Newsgroup, Online Account Management page, and the Authentication Page.
If you change your primary account, all login information will change as well. Also, your personal webspace address will change and any content uploaded to your personal webspace will be deleted.
